Senior Infra & Automation Engineer

Klarrio is working on a daily basis on very cool and challenging data projects.
When these highly complex projects are put into production and are running mission-critical workloads, the right infrastructure and platform resiliency are absolutely mandatory. With skyrocketing demand for real-time data processing—along with an ever-increasing volume of data—manual processes for deployment and configuration of cloud services are simply no longer scalable. Robust mechanisms and automation must be in place to make sure the solution can be rapidly deployed, functions properly, is able to scale, and equally able to handle unexpected events.

What will be your key resonsibilities?

  • Automate everything anywhere, always
  • Evangelize DevOps and security culture across the company
  • Evolve performance, reliability, availability and cost by building tools and automation
  • Build automated customer and internal infrastructure on premises and in the cloud
  • Contribute to incident response and blameless postmortems

As an Infrastructure and Automation engineer at Klarrio you possess the following minimum qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Programming experience in either Go, Python, Rust
  • Knowledge of computer networking (TCP/IP, Firewalls, DNS, SSL, …)
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, …
  • Hands-on experience with containers orchestrators like Kubernetes
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible at scale
  • Affinity with security across different parts of the stack
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines across a variety of tech

Extra assets are :

  • Understanding of distributed systems
  • Understanding of operating system concepts
  • Basic understanding of database systems (SQL or NoSQL)
  • Affinity with Agile development methodology
